Forza Horizon 4 will receive its first expansion pack on December 13, Microsoft announced during its X018 event over the weekend which takes you to the northern reaches of the British Isles and supposedly has the most extreme terrain in a Horizon game.
The new setting isn’t without its peaceful charms, though, as you’ll be able to witness the aurora borealis.
At the same time, Fortune Island is the biggest expansion for a Horizon game and it also happens to have the longest paved switchback road up to date, which of course means drifting galore. The expansion is expected to land on 13 December 2018.
Forza Horizon 4 was released in October on PC and Xbox One, and attracted more than two million players in just one week. The game has been out now long enough to gather a ton of feedback on every aspect of it, the bugs and things that could be made better.
Fans of customizing cars will love the Service Check update for its additional options for both paint and wheels. More detailed painting options will be coming to the game, including the ability to paint specific parts of the wheels on your cars.
Setting the expansion in the rocky north should prove a challenge for experienced racers, especially given the game’s marquee feature of changing seasons.
